Our Operations

Ward 101E belongs to the department of ear, nose, and throat diseases. We are located in building 101 and conduct our operations in new, fine premises. The department consists of a day surgery section and a preoperative section, which provides conditions for a developing and varied everyday life.

The preoperative section is tasked with preparing patients for surgeries and examinations. The patients come from several different surgical departments, such as surgery and urology, which provides a great variety of operations and treatments. The main patient flow of the department consists of elective patients who will be operated on/treatment in the hospital's various operating departments, radiology, or outpatient clinics.

The day surgery section provides pre and postoperative care for patients within ear, nose, and throat surgery, plastic surgery, and maxillofacial surgery. The patients you meet are both children and adults of all ages. There is a wide variety of procedures performed both under general anesthesia and local anesthesia.

The primary goal of the department is to deliver safe, properly prepared patients to the right operating department at the right time, as well as to offer good postoperative care. We have short hospital stays and work periodically at a high pace.
